Kempower Easter Tournament 2025 kiitokset!

Aivan mahtava Kempower Easter Tournament 2025 on nyt saatu vietyä kunnialla loppuun ja viimeisetkin pelit on pelattu loppuvihellykseen asti. Turnauksessa oli mukana osallistujia viidestä eri maasta, yhteensä 239 joukkuetta 6-7- vuotiaiden tyttöjen ja poikien jengeistä aina aikuisten miesten ja naisten sarjoihin asti. Pelaajia oli turnauksessa noin 2400, ja yhteensä pelattiin 585 peliä Lahdessa viikonlopun aikana. Kaiken kaikkiaan turnauksessa oli mukana noin 5000 ihmistä mukana pelaamassa, talkoissa, joukkueiden taustajoukoissa, vanhempina, katsojina tai muuten vain halleilla tutustumassa korikseen ja upeaan turnausfiilikseen 🧡

Valtavan iso kiitos jokaiselle turnauksen talkoolaiselle, vapaaehtoiselle, pelaajalle, joukkueenjohtajalle, valmentajalle ja kaikille jotka auttoivat järjestämään taas mahtavan turnauksen 🧡

Ensi vuonna pelataan 30. vuotis juhlaturnaus Lahdessa 3.-5.4.2026, eli pistä kalenteriin jo nyt tulevan turnauksen aikataulu. Ilmoittautuminen tulevaan juhlaturnaukseen avataan syksyllä 2026, ja aiheesta tiedotetaan turnauksen nettisivuilla, sekä Koripalloliiton nettisivuilla.

The absolutely amazing Kempower Easter Tournament 2025 has now successfully come to an end, with the final games played all the way to the last whistle. The tournament featured participants from five different countries, with a total of 239 teams ranging from 6-7-year-old girls’ and boys’ squads to adult men’s and women’s divisions. There were approximately 2,400 players in the tournament, and a total of 585 games were played in Lahti over the weekend. Altogether, around 5,000 people took part in the tournament – as players, volunteers, team staff, parents, spectators, or simply as visitors at the venues enjoying basketball and the amazing tournament atmosphere 🧡

A huge thank you to every single volunteer, helper, player, team leader, coach, and everyone who helped organize another fantastic tournament 🧡

Next year we’ll celebrate the 30th anniversary of the tournament in Lahti from April 3–5, 2026, so make sure to mark your calendars already. Registration for the upcoming anniversary tournament will open in fall 2026, and more information will be shared on the tournament’s website and on the Finnish Basketball Association's website.
